John C. Bumpus 65, passed away on December 15, 1976. He was born December 5, 1911 the son of Aloysius Joseph and Catherine Pike Bumpus. He was married to Eilline V. Robinson and she survives.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother; Ernest W. (Lela) Bumpus.
He is also survived one son Charles Eugene "Butch" (Jessie L. Horn) Bumpus; daughters, Sandy (Steve) Costa, Judy (John) Danna, Sharon Elders, Corole VanWinkle and Margaret (Alan) Bell and several grandchildren. Five sisters Theresa M. "Chick" (Calvin T.) Robinson, Tina (Edward) Hickey, Edna Bumpus, M. Catherine (James) Hamilton and Barbara J. (Edward L.) Williams and two brothers, Robert (Helen L.) Bumpus and James L. (A. Patricia) Bumpus; several nieces, nephews, cousins; and extended family.
