Lawrence Carter Evers, 85 of Madison Heights, died Wednesday, Feb 16, 2011
Lawrence was born Jan 5, 1926, in Campbell County, a son of the late John Harvey and the late Lomie Lee Evers. He was owner and president of J. W. Harvey Oil Company. for 26 years.
He is survived by a brother, John Evers, and his wife Sarah, of Lynchburg; a nephew, E. A. Williams, of Campbell County; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers and one sister.
A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 28, 2011, at Fort Hill Memorial Park.
