A native of Orange County, she was the daughter of the late George and Ann Saunders Lee.
She is survived by her husband, John Harvey Evers; a daughter, Mrs. E. A. Williams of Lynchburg; and seven sons: Arthur B., Carl T., Frank E., John Earl, Lawrence C. and Nelson T. Evers, all of Lynchburg, and Paul M. Evers of Roanoke.
Funeral services were conducted from Whitten Funeral Home today at 2 p.m. Interment was in Fort Hill Memorial Park.
