Laura Rose or Rosa Laurie Sieber was the daughter of Jacob Sieber 1846 and Anna Barabara Diedrich.

She moved with her family from Sheboygan County, Wisconsin where she was born to Colby, Clark County, Wisconsin by 1880.

She died of tuberculosis at age 17.

Sieber, Laura (20 OCT 1878 – 15 NOV 1895)

Died, at the home of her mother in the town of Colby, Clark Co., Wis., on Friday, Nov. 15th, 1895, of consumption, Miss Laura Sieber, in the 18th year of her age.

Laura Sieber was born in Sheboygan, Wis. Oct. 20th, 1878, and removed with her parents to this place the following spring, and has grown to young womanhood in this community where she had many sincere friends who deeply mourn her death and sympathize with her widowed mother and bereaved brothers and sisters.

The funeral occurred at the Lutheran Church, on Monday, and the remains were laid by the side of those of her father, in Colby Cemetery, Rev. Joseph R. Fiehler officiating.
