Sadie was born on May 12, 1890 in Fielding, Utah, a daughter of Thomas F and May Alice Spackman Coombs.
She married Owen Johnson on November 11, 1914, in the Logan LDS Temple. He died on July 5, 1944, in Tremonton, Utah.
She lived in Sprindale, Salt Lake City and Fielding for about 20 years and then moved to Riverside, California two years ago.
She had been Primary President, Relief Society Secretary, and past member of the Fielding Social Development Club. She served as a house mother for the Sigma NU Fraternity at the USU.
Surviving are one son and one daughter: Alma O Johnson, Riverside, California; Mrs Martin (Marie) Graff, San Francisco, California; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and the following brothers and sisters: Fred, Elmer, Leo, Lester and Irvin Coombs, Iris Coombs, all of Fielding, Utah; Dean Coombs, Garland, Utah; Mrs Glen (Alice) Ward, Riverside, Utah; Mrs J M (Nellie) Fife, Salinas, California.
Burial was held in the Fielding City Cemetery, Fielding, Utah.
