Owen A Johnson, 53, of Fielding, Utah, died early Wednesday morning at the Valley Hospital, where he had been receiving treatment for a heart ailment. He had been ill for about ten weeks.

Owen was born on February 2, 1891, at Beaver Dam, Utah, a son of Jarvis and Mary Jane Ainsworth Johnson. His family moved to Logan, Utah, while he was a young boy and he received his education in Cache County schools having attended the BYU and the USAC in Logan, Utah.

He married Sarah (Sadie) E Coombs in Brigham City, Utah, on November 11, 1912.

He is survived by his wife and one son, Alma Johnson, with the Army Air Forces in Australia; one daughter, Mrs Marie Graff, Shaps Park, California; two grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Joseph Johnson, Logan, Utah; Mrs Myrtle Webb, Hyde Park, Utah; Mrs Ruby Jones, Fielding, Utah; and Mrs Alice Miffin, Brigham City, Utah.

Burial was held the Fielding City Cemetery, Fielding, Utah.
