THE DEATH OF LIONEL R. CORNELL
Stockwell - Lionel R. Cornell, 44, died unexpectedly while working on the Harold Harshman farm, near here, at 1:20 P.M. Thursday. Born in Sheffield township, he resided in Stockwell several years. He was a veteran of World War 11, serving in England, France and Germany. In 1941 he married Joyce Vance. Surviving are two daughters, Miss Wanetta Joy, and Miss Carol Ann, both of Chelford, England; three brothers, Floyd and Cecil, both of Lafayette, R. 6, and Lloyd of Colburn; and three sisters, Mrs. Alta Brummett of Lafayette, Mrs. Leona Osborne of Lafayette, R.3, and Miss Helen Cornell of Lafayette, R.6. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday (CDT) at Dickerson funeral home, Stockwell. Services there at 10 a.m. Saturday: Interment Salem Cemetery, near Stockwell.(Lafayette Journal and courier, Lafayette, Indiana)
