The Goshen News - 12 July 2002: Marie Schieber Dec. 8, 1912-July 11, 2002 WAKARUSA, Ind. - Marie Schieber, 89, Miller's Merry Manor, formerly of 68635 C.R. 3, Nappanee, died at 7:05 a.m. today at her residence. She was born Dec. 8, 1912, in Elkhart County, to Lawrence and Nellie (Doring) Schieber. She was a sewer for Holiday Rambler and Jones Furniture in Wakarusa. She was a graduate of Wakarusa High School and taught Sunday school and sang in the choir at Bible Baptist Church. Surviving are a brother, Dean (Laianada) Schieber, Wakarusa; and a sister, Fern Schieber, Nappanee. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Walter L., Devon and Paul. Calling hours are from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret-Lienhart Funeral Home, Wakarusa. The service is at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The Rev. Brooks Henry, assisted by Ben Strohbehn, both of Bible Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Olive (West) Cemetery. Memorial contributions will be given to Bible Baptist Church.
