Obituary: Mrs. Nellie Mabel Schieber, 86, of 68635 County Road 3, Nappanee, died at 7 p.m. Friday in her home after an illness of six months. She was born on Aug. 29, 1891, in Locke Twp. and was a lifetime resident of the area. In May 1912, she married Lawrence Schieber, who died on June 27, 1962. She is survived by two daughters, Miss Marie Schieber and Miss Fern Schieber, both at home; three sons, Devon of Bristol, Walter and Dean, both of Wakarusa; seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the Bible Baptist Church, Wakarusa, with Rev. Gerald Pasma, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Olive West Cemetery, Wakarusa. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wakarusa Bible Baptist Church, of which she was a member.
