Mr. Schieber was born in Union township June 3, 1890, the son of Goutlaib and
Laura (Kehr) Schieber. He married Nellie M. Doering May 18, 1912, and they have
lived at their present home since.
The wife survives with six children, two daughters, Marie and Fern at home four
sons, Paul at home, and Devon Walter, and Dean of Wakarusa three grandchildren two
step grandchildren four brothers, Floyd, Nappanee Route 3, Jesse, Baldwin Lake, Mich.,
and Mervin and Forrest, Elkhart.
The funeral was held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the First Christian Church,
Wakarusa. The Rev. John Marvin officiated. Burial was in Olive cemetery.
