OBIT from the Sheboygan Press Jan. 4, 1963: "Funeral services will be held Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Port Washington, for Mrs. Regina Biever, 84, of Port Washington, who died Wednesday evening, The Rev. Edgar Braun, pastor, will officiate at the 9:30 AM services and burial will be in the parish cemetery. .... Mrs. Biever, who lived at 722 N. Wisconsin Ave., broke her hip in a fall several months ago. She had been at the Lester Lodde home where she died. Mrs. Biever, nee Winkel, was born in the Town of Port Washington Feb. 21, 1878, and was married to Peter Biever in Port Washington in October, 1899. Her husband, a well known cigar-maker, died in June 1941. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Herbert (Gertrude) Ewig, Port Washington; a brother Nick N. Winkel, Knellsville; two grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren..."
