Relief From Lingering and Painful Illness Comes Monday
Mrs F O Price, notice of whose lingering and painfull illness has been made in these columns, died at the home of her mother, Mrs M A Buck, shortly after 4 o'clock Monday afternoon, September 10. The deceased was the daughter of Marcus Aurelius and Lucia Buck. She was born in State Center April 24, 1876. After finishing her course in the public schools here she attended the colleges at Grinnell and Lincoln, Nebraska, where she gave special attention to music, and since has been a successful music teacher. On June 16, 1895, she made a public profession of her faith in Jesus Christ as her Saviour, was baptized and with three others received into the Presbyterian Church of State Center. She was married February 11, 1903 to Dr F O Price and they established their home in Storm Lake. They were blessed with one child, Nellie Maurine, for whole special care the mother longed to live. Her illness was of several months duration and of great severity, yet borne with Christian grace and loyal submission. Of her near relatives she leaves her husband and daughter together with her mother. Five brothers also survive, Carroll of Hubbard, Everett W, Corydon L, Ralph A, of this place and Harry of Colo, besides three sisters, Mrs Mary Wensel and Nellie of this place, with Mrs Myra Havenhill, of Lawrence, Kansas. These with many friends mourn her loss.
Funeral services were conducted from the home by Rev W A Galt, pastor of the Presbyterian Church, Wednesday afternoon, burial being made in Hillside.
