Born on March 15, 1854, in Nappanee Indiana, to George and Eyva (Joseph) Kring, Kosciusko County, Indiana.
Lizzie, the name she went by, found God at young age, and like her parents was a member of the Church of the Brethren. In late April of 1865, Lizzie took sick, and was bed ridden for weeks. Little did her parents know that a bad case of Scarlet Fever had moved into their little valley.
On May 9, Lizzie fell victim to the fever, and passed away, she was 15 years old. Lizzie was laid to rest in Hepton Union Cemetery, Nappanee, Indiana.
