Was born Dec. 28, 1846, in Nappanee, Indiana, the daughter of George and Eyva (Joseph) Kring, of Kosciusko County, Ind.
On Mar. 4, 1867, Johanna married Martin Snyder, of Elkhart County, Ind.
Johanna was introduced to the lord she was a young girl, and was a member of The Church of the Brethren. Like most people living in the mid-1800, the Kring's made their living as a farm family.
On May 11, 1938, in her home, with her love ones around her died of natural causes.
She was laid to rest in Hepton Union Cemetery, Nappanee, in.
