Mrs. Rosie Lee Milby 75, daughter of the late Mr. Willis Durrett and Mrs. Betty Bennett Durrett, was born August 14, 1896 in Green County and departed this life at 1:15 am. Friday, May 19, 1972 at the Jane Todd Crawford Memorial Hospital in Greensburg.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Oak Forrest Cumberland Presbyterian Church at the time of her death.
She united in marriage to Mr. Luther Tom Milby August 26, 1918 who survives. To this union were born five sons and one daughter: Cecil Milby, Elizabethtown, Raven Milby, Greensburg, Luther Wilson Milby, Louisville; Rudolph Milby, Shepherdsville; Leonard Milby, Greensburg and Mrs. Ann Akin, Louisville.
Mrs. Milby is also survived by three brothers: James Durrett, O. T. Durrett and Levi Durrett all of Summersville; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 21, 1972 at the Oak Forrest Cumberland Presbyterian Church with burial in the Wilson Cemetery. Revs. Shiley Beard and J. M. Vaughn officiated.
Pallbearers were Tommy Milby, Virgil Thomas Milby, Buford Durrett, Alfonso Durrett, Earl Durrett and Donald Durrett.
