Mrs. Emily Millicie Durrett Milby, wife of Ulysses Milby, died Monday February 24, 1947 at her home in Gabe. She was 64 years of age.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a foster son, Kendrick McCubbins; five brothers: James Durrett, Otha Durrett and Jack Durrett all of Green County; Levy Durrett, Louisville and Asa Durrett, Centralia, Il., two sisters: Mrs. Mary Estes and Mrs. Rosa Milby both of Lobb (Green Count) and many nephews and nieces. Two daughters, Ida and Grace preceded her in death many years ago.
Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. J. W. Furkin and the Rev. T. A. Richardson.
