She was born December 6, 1886 at Oakfield, the daughter of the late Billie Bliss and Allie May Poole Brookins. Prior to her marriage to Cecil S. Osier on June 17, 1908 at Oakfield, she taught schools in the Lamartine and Oakfield areas. The couple farmed in the Oakfield area and later moved to Fond du Lac.
Mrs. Osier is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Shirley) Knutson of Rt.1, Van Dyne; 19 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters: Miss Bessie Brookins of Sheboygan and Mrs. William (Ruth) Crumb of Care Center East; a half-sister: Mrs. David (Leah) Traxler of Fond du Lac; and a half-brother: Arnie Brookins of Lamartine. She was preceded in death by her husband in October of 1957 and by 2 sons, a daughter, 2 brothers, and a sister.
