Roy Brookins, 77 died at St. Joseph's Medical Center, Hancock, where he had been a patient 10 days.

He was born June 10,1880 at Oakfield, Wi and was married in 1903 to Johanna Thompson of New London, Wi, where they resided until 1924 when they moved here.

Mr. Brookins was employed as a butter maker at the Tousignant Dairy & later was employed at the Marley Dairy & the Ontonagon Fibre Corp.

Mrs. Brookins died in 1943 and a daughter Mrs. Guy Hawkins died in 1955.

Surviving are 2 daughters, Mrs. Harold Serrahn of Ontonagon & Mary Brookins of Milwaukee, 2 sons Winfield - West Memphis, Ark. & Alvah - Ontonagon, 2 brothers, Arne - Fond du Lac, Wi. & Guy - Omro, Wi., 4 sisters, Berill Brookins- Sheboygan, Mrs. Beatrice Osier & Mrs. Ruth Crumb - Fond du Lac, & Mrs. David Traxler of Waukegan, 18 grandchildren & 13 great grandchildren.

Driscoll Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Funeral services held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Rev. Herbert Praeuner officiating.
Burial at Riverside Cemetery.
