Oakfield - Mrs. B.B. Brookins died suddenly last Wednesday at 5pm after a short but painful illness. She was 38 years old and leaves a husband, 2 sons and 4 daughters. The Rev. Pomfret officiated at the funeral at the house Sunday, with interment at Avoca Cemetery.
