Funeral services for Mr. Ruth I. Crumb, 86, a resident of Care Center East, died there at 9 a.m. Monday, May 8, 1978.

Born Jan. 2, 1892, in Fond du Lac, she was a daughter of the late Billie B and Allie Pool Brookins. She was married to William S. Crumb n Jan. 31, 117, and he died April 19, 19954.

The couple farmed in Fond du Lac County until moving to Fond du Lac in 1944.

Survivors include a son, Morris of Lakeland, Fla.; a sister, Miss Bessie Brooking of Sheboygan; a half-brother, Arnold Brookins of Lamartine; a half-sister, Mrs David Traxler of Fond du Lac.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Candlish Chapel. The Rev. David Warren will officiate, and burial will be in Avoca Cemetery, Oakfield.

Friends of Mrs. Crumb may call from 4 to 5 p.m. and to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel.
