Funeral Services for Mrs. Viola L. Goss, 82, of Woodward and formerly of Clinton, were held on June 14 at the Kern-Schneider-Kiesau Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Bill Moorer, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, officiating.

Mrs. Goss was the daughter of Emerson and Nellie (Chapman) Dunn. She died at her home in Woodward.

Mrs. Goss grew up in the Stafford area and graduated the Stafford High School. She was married to Harry Vernon Goss, Sr. on Nov. 3, 1927 at Arapaho, OK. He preceded her in death in 1976.

She lived most of her life in Clinton, with the exception of 20 years when the couple lived in Enid. They moved back to Clinton in 1960 and Mrs. Goss moved to Woodward in 1983.

Mrs. Goss was employed at the Kern-Schneider-Kiesau Funeral Home for many years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Royal Neighbors and the Clinton Auxiliary.

Survivors include two sons, Harry Goss, Jr., Keller, TX, and J. C. Goss, Broken Arrow; one daughter, Carol Summerall, Woodward; two brothers, Leon Dunn, Hillsboro, OR, and Walter Dunn, Foss; three sisters, Gladys Snider, Butler; Mabel Snider, Monet, MO., and Nellie Stocks, Clinton; 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
