Memorial services for J. C. Goss were held at the Hayhurst Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Pylate officiating and under the direction of the Hayhurst Funeral Home of Broken Arrow, OK.
John Carl Goss was the son of Harry and Viola (Dunn) Goss and died at St. Francis Hospital South in Tulsa.
J. C. was married to Martha Ellen Ackley on Jan. 18, 1957 at Miami, OK. To this union seven children were born: Dana Gail, John Carl, Jr., Marty Allen, David Gene, Gregory Neal, Randall Dean and Michelle Deneice. Dana, John, Jr. and Gregory preceded him in death.
J. C. was married to Ann Stam on September 11, 1970 in Raton, NM. They moved to Broken Arrow, OK, from Tulsa in 1988, having lived in Enid, OK for 20 plus years. J. C. was a salesman for Lash's Gun Emporium. He enjoyed fishing, bow hunting, guns and bench rest shooting. He was a member of the NRA Rod and Gun Club.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, are three sons; Marty and his wife Joyce Goss, Gun Barrel, TX; David Goss, Garland, TX; Randy Goss, Pleasant Grove, TX; one daughter, Michelle and her husband Byron Newman, Mesquite, TX; a sister, Carol Summerall and her husband, T.M., of Woodward, OK; a brother, Harry Goss, Jr. and his wife, Helen, of Fort Worth, TX; and seven grandchildren.
