Nellie Luella (Dunn) Stocks was the daughter of Emerson D. and Nellie V. (Chapman) Dunn and grew up in the Stafford Community. On Nov. 11, 1923 she was married to Guy S. Stocks at Clinton, OK. To this union were born three children, Guy W., Ruth Ann and Betty Jean. Living on their farm east of Clinton, she was an accomplished seamstress, quilter and gardener and was active in the Clinton First Christian Church. It was there that her funeral service was held on June 15th, conducted by Doyle Kinney.

Survivors include: her children; Guy W. and his wife, Theo, Ruth Ann and her husband, Phil Rogers, and her son-in-law, Fred Kiehn of Clinton; one sister, Mrs. T. V. Snider of Butler, two brothers, Leon of Oregon and Walter and his wife Wenona, of Foss, eight grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, one daughter, Betty Jean Kiehn, one infant brother, Leo, and two sisters; Mable Snider of Missouri and Viola Goss of Woodward.
