GLENNVILLE - Katie Dasher Rushing, 79, died May 27 at Effingham County Hospital in Springfield.
The Tattnall County native was a member of Glennville First Baptist Church. She was formerly employed by Rimes Mortuary and was the widow of the late Robert Rushing.
SURVIVORS: two daughters and sons-in-law, Ann R. and Dent Purcell of Rincon and Nan R. and Kenny Fussell of Hinesville; three sisters, Fannie D. Holland of Glennville, Anne D. Norburg of Glennville and Dean D. King of Doerun; two brothers, Thurmon Dasher of Glennville and Remer Dasher of Ludowici; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL: 2 p.m. today at Cobb Funeral Home, Glennville Chapel, burial in the Glennville City Cemetery.
