Funeral services were conducted in the Retz Chapel, Rev. George Harper officiating. Cremation services followed at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial in Great Falls, internment at Forestdale.
Helen was raised and educated in Maine and taught school there for two years before marrying John M. Fiske on July 5, 1919 at Yarmouth, Maine. They came to Montana in 1920 and lived in Bozeman for two years and then lived at Eustis for 18 years. They lived in Francis from 1940 to 1943 and in Piedmont from 1943 to 1958. Eustis, Francis, and Piedmont were locations of Milwaukee Railroad substations where John was working as an electrical engineer for the Milwaukee Railroad. In 1968 they moved to Helena where they resided until they died.
She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church and the Helena Chapter of the Association for the Blind.
She was Pastmatron of Three Rivers Chapter No. 56 Order of Eastern Star at Three Forks and served as mother advisor of the Rainbow Assembly there. (The Eustis substation was near Three Forks.)
She served as sunday school superintendent of the Whitehall Methodist Church and also was president of the United Methodist Women in Whitehall and later in Helena. (The Piedmont substation was near Whitehall.)
At the time of her death, survivors included her husband John, all 3 of her daughters, both sons, one brother, 17 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
