Hodsdon Jr. of Cupertino, Mrs. William Brown and Miss Dorothy Hodsdon of England; grandfather of two grandchildren; brother of Herbert Hodsdon of Portland, Maine, Commander Richard Hodsdon of Miami, Florida, and Helen Fish of Whitehall, Montana. A native of Maine; aged 67 years. A member of El Camino Real Chapter No. 413 National Sojourned, Sons of the American Revolution Heros of 76, West Valley American Legion Post No. 158, Casco Lodge No. 36 F & AM, Los Gatos Chapter No. 128 O.E.S. Friends are invited to attend the funeral service Friday, January 11, at 10 a.m. at the Place Funeral Home, 115 North Santa Cruz Avenue, Los Gates. Interment, Golden Gate National Cemetery San Bruno, at 1:45 p.m. (Parking rovided in back of funeral home on Victory Lane).

LOS GATOS, Calif., Jan. 10 - Funeral services for Cmdr. Roger K. Hodsdon, 67, USN (ret.) will be held here tomorrow. Commander Hodsdon, a native of Yarmouth, Maine, died Tuesday. He held the Order of the British Empire for his work in repairing British ships while commanding a U. S. Navy repair base for Allied ships in New Zealand during World War II. Commander Hodsdon was born May 27, 1889, son of Mrs. A. Blanche Hodsdon of Portland, Maine, and the late George H. Hodsdon. He attended Yarmouth schools and was graduated from Colby College in 1912. He retired from the Navy in 1950 after 32 years service. he was a member of Casco Lodge, AF & AM. Yarmouth, and the Maine Society of Sons of the American Revolution. Survivors include his widow, the former Sarah Donnelly, a son, Roger K. Hodsdon Jr., Los Gatos; two daughters, Miss. Dorothy Hodsdon and Mrs. Elizabeth Brown, both teaching in Surrey, England, under an exchange program; two brothers, Richard F. Hodsdon, South Thomaston, Maine, and Herbert S. Hodsdon, Portland; a sister, Mrs. Heln Fiske, Whitehall, Mont.; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
