Mrs. Blanche Hodsdon, 91, widow of George H. Hodsdon died in her home, 217 Stevens Ave., Saturday after a brief illness. Mrs. Hodsdon was born at Falmouth, Jan. 30, 1867, daughter of Aaron and Elizabeth Hodsdon. She attended local schools and was graduated from Hebron Academy in 1889. She was a former member of the Yarmouth OES, a member of teh Welfare Workers of the Portland Council of Churches, and a member of the Ladies Union of the Swedenborgian Church here. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Helen Fiske, White Hall, Mont.; two sons, Richard P. Hodsdon, Portland; nine grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. Another son, Roger K. Hodsdon died in 1957. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at 749 Congress St. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Yarmouth.
