Mary Gail was a wonderful woman, mother, and wife. She was raised in Montana and lived in Eustis, next to the Milwaukee Railroad and the Missouri River. She graduated from Three Forks High School and Eastern Montana Normal School (now MSU Billings).

She was teaching 2nd grade in Billings when she met Frank "Andy" Andersen at her sister Herva's wedding in Great Falls. Frank was an Army buddy of the groom, Jim Simpson.

Frank and Mary Gail were married the next year on June 8, 1947 in Whitehall, MT. They moved to Fort Wayne where Frank worked for GE and they raised their 5 children. Frank and Mary Gail were married for 30 years when Frank died.

After Frank died, she was visiting in upstate New York and decided to stay. She married Louie Pool in ~1982. They were happily married for almost 21 years, tending to his tree farm, attending church activities, and spending some winters in their Florida retirement community.

After Louie died, Mary Gail moved back to Montana to live for several years with her oldest daughter in Helena. Her last days were spent in the Touchmark retirement home.

Mary Gail was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen, both of her husbands, and a great-granddaughter, Lydia Andersen.

Graveside service was held March 31, 2012, at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.
