Sister M. Cornelia Scully, 78, a sister of Mrs. Elmer Conkins of Crookston, died Tuesday in a Duluth hospital.
Sarah Scully was born April 9, 1881 in Ormstown, Quebec, Canada to Daniel and Ann (McKeegan) Scully. She entered the order of St. Benedict in 1913 and taking the name of Sr. M. Cornelia.
Funeral services will be Saturday at Villa Scholastica in Duluth. Burial will also be in Duluth.
Sister Cornelia was born in Ormstown, Quebec, Canada and entered the religious order of St. Benedict in Duluth in 1909. She was a school teacher. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Dan Scully Sr. of Gentilly.
Other survivors in addition to Mrs. Conkins include several nieces and nephews including Charles Martell of Crookston and Sister Mary John, O.S.B. of Crosby.
