Daniel Scully, of Gentilly, died this morning of congestion of the brain. Mr. Scully was about 55 years old. and had been a resident of this country about fourteen years. He was an extensive farmer and was quite well-to-do. He was sick about three weeks.
Mr. Scully was one of those jovial, good-natured men that is a pleasure to meet, and his friends are legion. Few men possessed in a higher degree that confidence and esteem of his friends and acquaintances that did Mr. Scully. He leaves a wife and six children, the oldest being a son of about 21 years old, who will take charge of the farm. The funeral will take place from the church at Gentilly at 10 o'clock Friday morning.
