News of the death of Mrs. Joseph Dufault, Sr. prominent resident of the vicinity of Genteilly since childhood, has been received by her large circle of friends and relatives. Mrs. Dufault passed away at a local hospital at 7:30 last evening after and illness of two years. She had moved with her husband to the home of her daughter Mr.s Joseph Pink of Crookston, in the fall and was confined to the hospital since since Tuesday.
Margaret Scully Dufault was born in Ormstown, Quebec, Canada, on February 14, 1876. She moved with her partents to Gentilly when a young child and made her home there conttinuously. On July 8, 1902, she was married to Joseph Dufault, who survives her with the following children; five sons, Joseph of Oklee, Daniel of Gentilly, Louis of Crookston, John of Gentilly and Clarence of Red Lake Falls, two daughters, Mrs. Frank LaChange and Mrs. Joseph Pink both of Crookston. Three brothers, Daniel Scully of Gentilly, Mathew Scully of Chicago, and Con Scully of Crookston, and three sisters, Sister M. Cornelia of Hibbing, Mrs. Kate Scully and Mrs. Elmer Conkins of this city, and 18 grandchildren also survive her.
Mrs. Dufault was an active member of the St. Anne's society at Gentilly, of the Lady Foresters lodge and of other church and home activities.
