Henrietta Grubaugh was born in 1831 to Jonathan H. Grubaugh and Henrietta Wallace. She was the 6th of their 10 children. She married Leander Wright on 10 Jun 1849 in Richland County, OH. They had 4 children - Frances G. Wright (b.1850), Minnie E. Wright (b.1859), Charles Wright (b.1865) and Howard W. Wright (b.1868). Leander was a railroad engineer and travelled extensively throughout the eastern U.S. Henrietta died in 1876 and Leander remarried. In 1880 he is in Rochester, NY with his wife, Mary. Leander died in 1897.

Note that Henrietta's tombstone indicates that she was born in 1828, not 1831. Henrietta is found in the 1855 census in New York (age 28); in the 1860 federal census (age 32); in the 1865 census in New York (age 37); and in the 1875 census in New York (age 46). I couldn't locate the family in the 1850 or 1870 Federal census. The 1830 Federal census of her father's household would suggest Henrietta was not born until after the 1830 census. She had 5 older siblings and they are all included in that census. It's fairly clear that Leander thought that she was born in 1828. He is likely the person would provided the life span information on the tombstone and could easily be the one who provided her age information in all the census listings above.
