MARY BOCKHEIM, FORMER NURSE, DIES
MRS. MARY BOCKHEIM of 1101 Union ave., NE., former nurse and city hall health department employe, died Sunday after a long illness. She was 38 years old.
She is survived by the husband, JOSEPH; four children, SHIRLEY, 12; RICHARD, 10; LARRAINE, 7; ROSALIE, 6; her parents, MR. and MRS. JOSEPH TOBIN; four sisters, SISTER MARY EILEEN, Sisters of Mercy, Mt. Mercy academy; SISTER MARY LORRAINE, Sisters of Mercy, Mercy hospital, Muskegon; SISTER ROSE ANNA, O.P., Mary Knoll, N.Y., BETTY JANE, at home; five brothers, JOSEPH of Grand Rapids, LT. FRANCIS J. TOBIN, Fifth army chaplain in Italy, FR. GERARD TOBIN, CSSR, DeSoto, Mo.; FR. BERNARD TOBIN, CSSR, Oconomowoc, Wis.; Staff Sergeant EDWARD J. TOBIN, Indio, Cal.
Mrs. Bockheim, a native of Grand Rapids, was a graduate of St. James school, Mt. Mercy academy, St. Mary's hospital school for nurses and the Michael Reese hospital of Chicago. Her body is at the Alt mortuary.

MRS. MARY KATHERINE BOCKHEIM, aged 38, wife of JOSEPH BOCKHEIM, passed away Sunday morning at St. Mary's hospital. Besides her husband, she is survived by three daughters, SHIRLEY ANN, LORRAINE THERESA and MARY ROSALIE; one son, RICHARD JOSEPH; her parents, MR. and MRS. JOSEPH G. TOBIN; five brothers, four sisters. Mrs. Bockheim's home was at 1101 Union avenue. Funeral services Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock in St. Alphonsus church. Interment in Mt. Calvary cemetery.
