TOBIN - FRANCIS JOSEPH TOBIN, C.S.s.R., Redemptorist Missionary, died in Oakland, CA June 3, 1992. He was born and lived in Grand Rapids until he entered the Redemptorist Seminary. He was ordained in 1938. He was a WWII Chaplain serving in Italy. Surviving are a brother, EDWARD (HELEN) of Grand Rapids; and two sisters, ROSEMARY, Maryknoll Sister of Maryknoll, NY and ELIZABETH (EUGENE) SKAZINSKI; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass and Burial will take place in Oakland, CA on Monday. A Memorial Mass wil be held at St. Alphonsus Church, Grand Rapids, on Tuesday, June 9 at 11 a.m.
