REQUIEM FOR MERCY SISTER
Solemn Requiem Mass was offered last Saturday, in Mount Mercy Academy Chapel for Mercy Sister MARY LORRAINE, the former MARY EILEEN TOBIN, a St. James parish member.
Born in Grand Rapids, Sr. Mary Lorraine served as a nurse and anesthetist in Mercy Hospitals of Ann Arbor, Manistee, Grand Rapids and Bay City; and was administrator of St. Ann's Hospital, Hammond, Ind.
Survivors include her mother, MRS. ROSE TOBIN of Grand Rapids; four brothers, Redemptorist Fathers FRANCIS J. TOBIN, and BERNARD J. TOBIN, both of California; JOSEPH A. of Sarasota, Fla; and EDWARD J. of Grand Rapids; three sisters, Mercy Sister MARY EILEEN, of Howell; Maryknoll Sister ROSE ANN, of Vermont; and MRS. EUGENE SKAZINSKI of Grand Rapids.
