Funeral services for Mr. Louis C. Podsednik of Woodrow Drive, Port Arthur, were held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning, February 22. Monsignor Drehuit celebrated Mass at the St. Catherine Catholic Church in Port Arthur, where interment followed.
Podsednik was a former longtime resident of Hillsboro, Tours, and Gerald. The Podsednik’s moved to Port Arthur from Hillsboro thirteen years ago. He was preceded in death by a son, Raymond Podsednik, in 1974.
Rosary was recited Friday night, February 21, at the Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home Chapel in Port Arthur. Survivors include: His wife, Anna; five daughters, Mrs. Jack Cavanaugh of Dallas, Mrs. Walter Cummings of Kansas City, Mrs. Bob Hardigan of West Palm Beach, Florida, and Mrs. Jack Duke and Mrs. Joe English, both of Port Arthur; four sons, John Podsednik, Dave Podsednik, Ben Podsednik, and Albin Podsednik, all of Houston; 17 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews in the West area.
