Mrs. Podsednik had been a resident of Port Arthur for the past 15 years.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bennie Patillo officiating. Burial followed in Greenlawn Memorial Park. A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Funeral Home Chapel.
Survivors include: five daughters, Rose Duke and Mrs. W. (Irene) English, both of Port Arthur; Mrs. Agnes Cummings of Kansas City, Mo.; Mrs. R. Hartigan of Boynton Beach, Fla.; and Mrs. W. Kavanaugh of Dallas; four sons, John Podsednik, Daniel Podsednik, David Podsednik and Alvin Podsednik, all of Houston; 20 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Those attending their aunt’s funeral from West were Robert and Mary Shebesta and Lilyan Dvoracek. Mrs. Podsednik is survived by many relatives in the West area.
