A rosary was recited October 3, at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial was October 4 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, with interment at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, Houston.
Mrs. English was reared in West by her aunt and uncle, R.R. and Albina Sulak, and graduated from West High School. She married Waverly P. (Joe) English in 1952. They moved to Port Arthur, where she worked for Sears, until she retired in 1986.
She is survived by her husband, Joe; daughter, Katherine E. Graeber; grandson, Justin M. Graeber; sisters, Rose Duke, Agnes Cummins, Marty Hartigan and Aurelia Cavanaugh; brothers, John Podsednik, Dan Podsednik and Albin Podsednik; numerous nieces and nephews; and also many relatives in the West area including Olive English, Mary Shebesta, Lilyan Dvoracek and Josephine Sulak.
