Funeral services for Flora McCluskey Noland of North Carrollton will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 13, at Lee Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in Evergreen Cemetery in North Carrollton. Rev. Joseph
Sansing and Rev. Bennie Watson will officiate the services.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, from 10:00 am until service time, at Lee Funeral Home.
Mrs. Noland died of cancer at Winona Manor on Sunday, January 9, 2011. She was 86 years old.
Mrs. Noland was the daughter of the late William Newton and Virgie Stephens McCluskey and the widow of the late V. E. "Mack" Noland. She was a homemaker and attended New Bethel Baptist Church near Carrollton. She was also preceded in death by eight sisters, five brothers, and a niece and nephew-in-law, Marie and Carl Hopkins.
Survivors include one sister, Augusta Denley of Carrollton; and numerous nieces and nephews, including special nephews, J. W. (Linda) Able, Ryan (Lori) Hopkins, and Eric (Tonya) Hopkins.
Pallbearers will be Tom Bowers, Robert Kimbrough, Virgil McCluskey, Bill McCluskey, Jimmy Avant, and Randy Welch.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 332 N. Lauderdale, Memphis, TN 38104.
