Last rites for Eddie Winford McCluskey were held Thursday, May 7. at 2 p.m. at the North Carrollton Baptist Church.
Mr. McCluskey, a lineman, was killed May 5 when he came in contact with a high-voltage power line he was working on near Covington, Tennessee.
He was 38 years old.
Funeral services were conducted by Revs. Martin Smith and B. C. Nunn. Burial was in Evergreen cemetery, with Lee Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Mary Dickson McCluskey, Carrollton; his mother, Mrs. Virginia McCluskey, Carrollton: three children, Virgil lee McCluskey, Alice Lula McCluskey. and Wanda Sue McCluskey, all of Carrollton. Three brothers, Hester McCluskey, Paul McCluskey. and William McCluskey. all of Carrollton; and seven sisters, Mrs. Bill Abels, Grenada: Mrs. Maurine Riales, Greenwood; Mrs. Cliff Noland, Mrs. Claude Strachan, Mrs. Orbie Evans.
