CARROLLTON - Funeral services were held Monday for Mrs. Vlrgie Stephens Mc-Cluskey, 72, at the Methodist Church in North Carrollton with the Rev. Martin Smith officiating, assisted by the Rev. Thomas Sorrell. Burial was In Evergreen Cemetery. Lee Funeral Home of Winona was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. McCluskey died at her residence after suffering a heart attack last Saturday.

Mrs. McCluskey was the widow of W. N. McCluskey. She was a Methodist.

She is survived by three sons, Hester McCluskey, Paul McCluskey and William McCluskey, all of Carrollton; six daughters, Mrs. Lois Strachen of Jackson, Mrs. Edith Ables of Grenada, Mrs. Marine Nokes of Greenwood, Mrs. Thelma Evans, Mrs. Florra Noland and Mrs. Augusta Denley, all of Carrollton; 27 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; also five sisters and nine brothers.

Her grandsons were pallbearers and honorary pallbearers.
