Hester McCluskey

Hester McCluskey, 88, of North Carrollton, died September 20 at Tyler Holmes Memorial Hospital in Winona due to heart failure.

A graveside funeral was held Tuesday, September 22 at the Evergreen Cemetery in Carrollton with Bro. Norris Corley officiating.

Mr. McCluskey is survived by his wife Lillie Woods McCluskey of North Carrollton; son Paul McCluskey of North Carrollton; daughters Flora Noland and Augusta Denley of North Carrollton, Thelma Evans of Baton Rouge, and Maurine Nokes of Greenwood.

Pallbearers were Bill Noland, Jerry Noland, Hayes Noland, Bo Noland, George Slocum, J.W. Abels, Larry Blaylock and Frankie Truitt.

Honorary pallbearers were Ralph Self, Arnie Watson, Dr. Charles Nause, Honey Ashmore, Charles Holmon, Don Gray, Michael Spellman, Bill Wood, Harold Scruggs and James Slocum.

Lee Funeral Home of Winona was in charge of arrangements.
