CARROLLTON -- Graveside services for Maurine McCluskey Riales Nokes of Carrollton will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Evergreen Cemetery in North Carrollton.
Mrs. Nokes, 75, died of cancer on Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2009, at her home.
She was born on May 30, 1934, to the late William and Virgie (Stephens) McCluskey. She was born in Carroll County and resided in the Greenwood area all of her life. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Joseph M. Riales and Morris B. Nokes; one son, Charles E. Riales; and many brothers and sisters.
Ms. Nokes is survived by one daughter, Betty Pryor of North Carrollton and her husband, David; two sons, James William Riales of North Carrollton and Joe Nokes of Carrollton and his wife, Patricia; one grandchild, Gabriel Alexander Nokes of Carrollton; two sisters, Augusta Denley and Flora Noland, both of Carrollton.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. today at Williams and Lord Funeral Home.
The Rev. Zane Hodge will officiate at the services. Pallbearers will be Jerry Shaw, George Shackleford, Don Buchanan, Bill McCluskey, Eric Hopkins, Ryan Hopkins, Tim Nettles and Larry McCluney. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Ezell, Pete Buchanan, Glen Ellis and Burnell Taylor.
Williams and Lord Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Memorial may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
