Deceased Was Daughter of Mr. and Mrs.John Lingenfelter, of Sprankle Mills
Mrs. Effie Bish, wife of Wilbur Bish, of Frostburg, died Sunday afternoon of heart trouble following an illness of several weeks. She was 55 years of age.
The deceased was born in Sprankle Mills, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Lingenfelter and was reared to woman hood there. She was married to Wilbur Bish and to them a large family was born. She was a member of the Hopewell M. E. Church and a splendid Christian woman whose death is deeply mourned by a host of friends.
She leaves her. husband and the following sons and daughters: Guy, William, John, Mrs. Walter Johnson, Frank and Eugene, of Frostburg, and Dale, of New Bethlehem. The following brothers and sisters also survive: Andrew, Gurn and Hillis Lingenfelter, of Sprankle Mills; 'Mrs. Jane Brown, of Glenside; John Lingenfelter, of Wellington, Kan., and Mrs. Margaret Updegraf, of Colorado; Seventeen grandchildren of the deceased are living.
Funeral services will be held in the Hopewell church beginning at two o'clock Tuesday afternoon with Rev. Bloomquist. of Valier officiating. Interment will be made in Hopewell cemetery.
