"ANDY" LINGENFELTER DIED SUNDAY AT HOME NEAR SPRANKLE MILLS Andrew H. Lingenfelter, one of the prominent farners of this county, died at his home near Sprankle Mills Sunday at the age of 65 years. He had been in poor health for some time, but his death yesterday was rather unexpected. The deceased was born in Perry Township a son of John and Eve Lingenfelter and had been a farmer and lumberman all his life and had held practically every township office in the gift of the people. He was married June 18, 1891, to Miss Margaret Hoch, of Sprankle Mills. He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church and was held in the highest esteem throught Jefferson County for his honesty, his interest in the welfare of the county and the people of his township. A splendid husband, father and neighbor, the death of "Andy" Lingenfelter, as he was known throughout the section, is sincerely mourned. He leaves his widow and the following sons and daughters: Mrs. Reubin Miller; Mrs. John Todd;Mrs. Jay Mitchell; Mrs. Buzze Anthony; David Lingenfelter; Mayes, Parnell and Adrian, of near Sprankle Mills. The following brothers and sisters also survive:Hillis and Gurn, of near Sprankle Mills; John of Kansas; Mrs. Mary Gahegan, of near Sprankle Mills; and Mrs. Jane Brown, of Los Angeles, California. Funeral services will be held beginning at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon in the Barton Chapel with interment in the cemetery there.
