TOBIAS ANDREW SAILER
Tobias Andrew Sailer, 70 years of age, Pick City, North Dakota, died Friday, November 19, 1982, at the Hazen Memorial Hospital. He was born on January 5, 1912, at Krem, North Dakota, to Adam and Pauline (Sailer) Sailer. He attended a rural school north of Hazen and married Elsie Isaak on January 25, 1935, at Krem. The couple moved to rural Hazen, North Dakota, where they farmed. They then moved to Stanton, North Dakota, where they lived for eight years and moved to Pick City, North Dakota, in 1954. He was employed in construction for 25 years. Mr. Sailer was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, rural Pick City.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, three brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Elsie Sailer, of Pick City; nine sons, Glen, James and Bruce Sailer, all of Stanton, N.D.; Stanley and Thomas Sailer of Pick City, N.D.; Le Roy Sailer of Washburn, N.D.; Perry Sailer of Vancouver, Washington; Willis Sailer serving with the U.S. Navy; four daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Joan) McCloud of Pick City, N.D.; Mrs. Delbert (Judy) Stuart of Baker, Mont.; Mrs. Mark (La Vonne) Markert of Garrison, N.D.; Mrs. Monte (Yvonne) Stiefel of Stanton, N.D.; four brothers, Eldor Sailer of Wheatland, Wyoming; Arthur Sailer of Milton Freewater, Oregon; Bernard Sailer, of Pick City, N.D.; and Albert Sailer of Stanton, N.D.; two sisters, Mrs. Norman (Bertha) Adams, of Warren, Oregon, and Mrs. Harold (Helen) Ziemann of Cheyenne, Wyoming; 29 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were to be held Tuesday, November 23, 1982, at 1:00 p.m. MST at the Trinity Lutheran Church, rural Pick City.
