Adam at the age of 10 with his parents and siblings; Elizabeth and Andreas, immigrated to America via the Port of Antwerp, Belgium aboard the SS "Belbenland(1878)" and arrived at Ellis Island, New York on the 29th of November 1893.
Adam married Pauline SAILER on the 23rd of October 1905 at Fargo, Cass County, North Dakota. The couple was blessed with 12 children; Bertha, Richard, Helmuth, Tobias A, Albert, Eldor A, Bertha C, William A, Edwin W, Bernhard, Helen and Arthur D.
After their marriage the SAILER family farmed 16 miles north of Hazen, Mercer County, North Dakota and lived there until Adam passed away in 1959.
