************ World War II--United States Navy*****************

Warren Edward Doile, 5th child of Printice Doile and Delilia May Reeder. Warren worked as a Telephone Towerman for the Santa Fe Rail Road up to WWII. He was 44 years of age when the war started, well beyond the age they would allow in the service. But Warren had a very determined personality and drove the Navy recruter crazy until they signed him up. He served on the Great Lakes. After the war, Warren went to work for the Kansas State Teachers College in Emporia, Kansas. He lived on the family farm and took care of his mother. After her death and his retirement he moved to Arma,Kansas to a little house he had bought for himself. Warren, like his brothers, had refined their sence of humor to a roaring point. Pranksters to the end. It was a real event to spend time with all of them. Warren loved to make his own beer in the basement. Quite a nice man.
