Frank P. Burkholder, 83, of 133 E. Walnut St., Ephrata, died Friday in the Ephrata Community Hospital at 9 p.m.
Born in Manor Twp., he was a son of the late Joseph and Emaline Powl Burkholder.
He was a retired farmer, had worked for A. G. Kurtz & Sons, concrete firm, and also was employed by the State Highways Department.
He was a member of Metzler's Mennonite Churc, W. Earl Twp.
He is survived by his widow, Minnie Witmer Burkholder; and the following children: Mae, wife of Titus Weaver, Lititz; Alta W., wife of Aaron C. Burkholder, Terre Hill; Levi W. Burkholder, Ephrata; Eva W., wife of Elwood S. Good, Lancaster; Minnie W., wife of Willard M. Eberly, Shaefferstown; Edwin W. Burkholder, Akron; Clyde E. Burkholder, Akron, and Anna A., wife of Enos R. Buckwalter Jr., Philadelphia.
In addition, a sister, Mrs. Katie Lausch, Fairmount Rest Home, Ephrata R2; a brother, Ezra Burkholder, Akron; 26 grandchildren, and 38 great-grandchildren.
