William Southern Blair was born 22 Aug 1902 in Canton, Van Zandt, TX, to William Samuel and Willie Anna (Gilmore) Blair. He was the first Texas born child to the family. He met a Mary and they had one child Patsy Ruth. Mary remarried a Goff who adopted Patsy Ruth. "Bill" Blair worked in the Reno, Nevada area for many years and died in a Reno hospital 17 Nov 1984. Arrangements were under the direction of O'Brien-Rogers and Crosby Funeral Home.
